We are seeking a talented individual for the role of Senior Project Manager. This is a full time position.  Candidates must live in the service area and report to the RSI Meridian office, or other locations as needed, to perform job duties. This role reports to the Director of PMO.

You will be working with a team of highly skilled technologists and peers across a wide range of disciplines, representing solutions from AI, security, networking, data centers, service desk, and project management. Your role is to ensure that industry best practices and methodologies are applied to the planning and oversight of projects, ensuring they are completed successfully. You will work collaboratively to plan the full project implementation including budget preparation, allocating team resources, and monitor progress and addressing risk while keeping stakeholders informed.

Work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with the ability to travel on occasion during weekdays.  Occasional weekend, early morning/evening work may be required.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate detailed and complex projects integrating multiple technologies across multiple disciplines
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, including implementation schedules, staff and end-user coordination
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Work with team leads and other members of the PMO team to effectively schedule engineering resources.
  • Utilize industry (PMI Agile, Predictive, and Hybrid) best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in management of 20-25 smaller projects in between large, complex projects
  • Contribute to PMO continuous process improvement
  • Assist in project invoicing
  • Other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • PMP, CAPM, Certification or equivalent
  • 6+ years IT Project Management experience or equivalent
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience with SaaS tools such as Smartsheet, O365, Brightgauge, Webex
  • Powerful interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Candidate must be honest, highly self-motivated and self-managing
  • Candidate must be team-oriented, able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Candidate must be able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with a service provider and value-added reseller

  • Candidate must be able to conduct research into issues and problems
  • Meet with customers, OEMs and RSI team members in-office, onsite and remotely as required to perform job duties effectively.
  • Candidate would either need to have a valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance, or confirm their ability and means to report to the office daily on work days as scheduled, as an essential job function for this role.
